FACEBOOK

12.10.2008 FACEBOOK   Background - A while ago, my kids had encouraged me to set up a Facebook profile to look at their Facebook pages that included their pictures, etc.....so I did.   Several weeks ago, one of my OLD FAVORITE SWEETHEARTS did a search on Facebook and found me!!! She is now a member of our F.A.N.S Group and we have been communicating ever since. In addition, she is now also communicating with a few other Brothers and Sorority Girls from our era.   THIS IS GREAT....we have found a new way to RECONNECT.   Furthermore, I am a novice with Facebook. I sent out what they called Invite Friends...so I did. I now have over 44 Friends!!! But more importantly, we now have Brothers RECONNECTING....such as Marty Sampson, Dave Rehnberg, Gil Sanderson, Arnie Feffer and Joe Locke!!!!   In addition, we have found OLD BROTHERS that we could not get a hold of before.....now we do and they are becoming Friends AND REGISTERED MEMBERS of our Alumni Group and our F.A.N.S Group.   Lastly.....we had always talked about a place where Brothers could put pictures of newborns, grand kids, etc.....I posted some of my son Drew's NIU Soccer Pictures (Don McMillin's son plays baseball at Western Michigan and Ralph O'Days son plays for the Anaheim Angels).
